Integrity Land Inc. is committed to occupational health and safety. We believe in a preventative and a proactive approach.

Every fall, we undertake our annual winter vehicle inspection of all Surface Land Agents and Crown Surface Land Use Agents’ vehicles. This ensures that they are equipped with winter tires and various winter and safety gear. We provide lined winter work gloves to all of our field staff. If required for any reason, Integrity Land Inc. pays for safety gear such as hard hats and coveralls.

Safety training in First Aid, CPR and H2S Alive are mandatory for all Surface Land Agents and Crown Surface Land Use Agents. When required by clients, any and all safety training is absolutely adhered to. Our office task chairs are ergonomically sound. We maintain clean and tidy, safe office working environments, equipped with first aid kits. We have a requirement in place that all staff step away from their desk / computer for at least thirty minutes per day to capture some mental rest and take a break from the seated position and the view of a computer screen. Our Great West Life group benefits plan provides many benefits to assist in ensuring our employees' health is maintained, including massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic, vision, prescription benefits, etc. The consumption of alcoholic beverages or use of illegal drugs, during hours of work is not permitted. At company functions where alcoholic beverages are provided, Integrity Land Inc. ensures guests and employees have a safe way of getting home and do not drink and drive. We have provided lodging at the location of parties, bus transportation and taxi chits at functions in the past.

Our Fort Saskatchewan and Calgary office locations have fitness centers available so that staff may work out, reduce stress and enhance physical fitness, which in turn, enhances mental fitness. With sponsored slow-pitch teams in Fort Saskatchewan and in Calgary, a co-sponsored Men’s hockey team in Fort Saskatchewan, and an annual golf tournament, Integrity Land Inc. supports and encourages staff to get active and enjoy some physical activity. In addition, Integrity Land Inc. has a Personal Days policy which allows staff to enjoy a personal day off when healthy, for whatever reason they choose, as opposed to taking a day off just when they are sick.
