Crown Land Lease Acquisition (Dispositions)

Scout and locate Crown well sites, rights of way and access roads.

Trapper consultation.

Coordinate surveying, through liaison with survey companies, construction personnel and pipeline inspectors.

Provide on site direction to survey crews and maintain ongoing contact with forestry.

Preparation of all required information packages, spreadsheets and reports.

Perform preliminary field checks to determine topography, land use, sample plot locations and potential crossings, when warranted.

Project review and discussions with Forest Officers and timber companies.

Acquisition of all required surface dispositions and third party agreements.

Completion of all required notifications.

Environmental Field Reports (EFR’s)

Review of aerial and/or satellite photography and wildlife referral maps.

Preliminary advice and direction on routing and location of development, in order to ensure forestry approval and timelines are met.

Complete on-site field assessments, including timber volume calculations, reviewing ground conditions, determining wildlife, vegetation and environmental concerns, and assessing/evaluating watercourse crossings.

Complete all required Aboriginal Consultation for Crown projects.

Prepare formal EFR to accompany Crown Applications for Surface Dispositions and discuss with Forest Officers to reduce project cycle time for clients.
