Pipeline Construction – Landowner Liaison Services

  • Attend all project kick-off meetings with construction crews and pipeline inspector.
  • Meet and communicate with inspection and construction groups on a regular basis and attend to their requirements.
  • Make direct contact and build relationships with all stakeholders and landowners in the project areas and relay all concerns/commitments to the client.
  • Ensure that all necessary compensation has been delivered to the landowners.
  • Acquire all necessary temporary working space or routing changes and communicate those requirements to the client, to ensure accuracy of client records.
  • Measure and stake out any revised areas prior to the construction crew entering upon the lands (when applicable and if necessary).
  • Monitor pipeline construction crew for any inadvertent trespass issues and relay any concerns to the construction personnel. Address any trespass concerns and situations with the affected landowner immediately. Negotiate and settle associated claims.
  • Monitor that gates are being kept shut (or open if required by the landowner) and that all conditions previously agreed to, are adhered to. Inform all necessary parties if any condition is not met.
  • Monitor that adequate fencing is in place if cattle are present and assist in communicating all necessary access points and any temporary access that may be required to the pipeline inspector and landowner / occupant.
  • Negotiate and settle damages, as directed by the client.
  • Regularly provide any positive or negative feedback from stakeholders, to the client.
  • Maintain a working database or spreadsheet to accurately report all activities to the client.
